A little R & R, anyone? Rick and Rebecca are awesome! The funny thing is that most of my clients take 15 minutes at least to warm up, not these two! As soon as the camera was on them, they turned it on….and this mostly meant laughing…we laughed a lot….Rick especially was turning on the smolder. We had such a great time! We met at the Circle of Orange. Rick & Rebecca wanted to have an urban feel, a contrast of beauty and a rustic urban background. Orange was the perfect location! We found an old Continental, parked right there for us to use near the railroad tracks, super fun. We played chicken with a train….literally….and Rick would not stop kissing his girl. He LOVES her…and she him! I can’t wait for their wedding in May, coordinated by the amazing Kevin Covey. I am so lucky to have been introduced to these two amazingly beautiful people….and super fun….no shortage of laughter or love here…Happy Valentine’s day! I had such a blast!!!

Emily and Frankie. Love and respect. Tenderness and passion. Friendship and fate. Gorgeous and Handsome. Prince and Princess. I’m sure you got my point? Excited is an understatement. I love these two! It was my first time meeting Frankie. What a perfect gentleman! What made my evening shooting, was as soon as we started, Emily and Frankie were themselves. Candid photos, not a problem. You can feel the emotion they feel for each other in the photos. Totally comfortable in front of the camera…..two naturals! I was almost tempted to tell Emily to stop laughing….but there was nothing funny…not really…she was just letting her emotions out just like when she first told me about her love for Frankie. Her eyes filled with tears as she began to explain why she is the luckiest woman alive…..how lucky am I to be the one to photograph them? All that passion and all that love! I know I say this all the time…but please people…I mean it. Not to sound like a broken record but the most amazing couples find me, the most amazing planners refer me! I thank Lindsay Longacre with LVL EVENTS, for bringing them my way. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in July at Rancho Las Lomas…as they continue their perfect life together! Climbing a tree…wearing heals and lovely weather. Postponing shoots is never ideal, we all have busy schedules, but this rain, it can be so unpredictable! So our day was this past Saturday. Wonderful weather, super clear day and a gorgeous couple. I met Tracie at her friend’s wedding….Nicole…last year. The most beautiful group of girls ever and was totally thrilled to even have the opportunity to talk about being her wedding photographer. YES! I can’t wait! They decided to have their session in Long Beach where they met, and be in those places that make them remember when love first started between them. We had such a great time. Tracie, is an avid tree climber, and she did this very well….Josh, mountain biker and although we didn;t partake in one of his past times, I can tell that just being around Tracie is all he ever asks for. I love watching them, I love how when I have them look at each other they smile….super easy to crack a smile and giggle between them!

Oh man, I tell you. The most beautiful brides in the world, they find me…and I am so lucky for this! Along with my brides being beautiful, my grooms are super handsome. Every photographer in the world would love to photograph the couples that I have booked, and I know this. I am very lucky that they chose me! I can not say this enough…I am thankful. Thank you Tracie and Josh for an amazing night and I can’t wait until your Wedding In October in VEGAS!!!!!! Make up for this session was beautifully done by the amazing Lettie Mix!

Lesley and Tyler round 2! Our first experience together was a little harsh! Oh we got a long great and had a great time, but lets just say that a Santa Monica Shoot on a busy Saturday night in December on a windy day was not the best decision that we had ever made! Shooting with about 1 million people on the pier can make for some fun shots, but intimate, not really! So after their shoot we decided that since it wasn’t the best decision, and all my clients deserve the best, to go to a more intimate location. So we chose the beach. WELL….actually I had mentioned it and it was initially a good idea. But see, I have this issue, I think a location needs to be about the couple…if possible. Pretty places are great, but funny, Lesley (me as well) hates sand. SO when I woke up in the morning I thought….”if she hates sand why and the heck am I dragging them to the beach?” Lesley is a South Orange County girl, and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to go to Los Rios Street in San Juan Capistrano. Such history, and such great backdrops! It turned out just fabulous and I am so glad we did a supplemental shoot for them! I know they will love having the combination of the two! Makes for a great guest sign in book with so much variety! XXOO

Perfect skin, beautiful eyes, gorgeous personality, super fun, and driving slow? Kind of caught you off guard. But perhaps it tells a story about this amazing couple, Rowena and Tarik. I have told you a million times that my couples are amazing, you should already know this. Not only gorgeous but full of substance, beautiful souls, a blessing to know. Rowena has these amazing dark eyes and perfect brows….hmmm wonder why? And Tarik’s dark hair and amazing light eyes, stunning…can’t wait for them to have kids! We met at the San Juan Capistrano Mission and I think it’s super cute but Rowena was nervous about her pics! She made little comments here and there about wanting them to be perfect! Okay, so I felt a little pressure but how could these two take a bad photo? They couldn’t. One of my favorite parts about this engagement session (besides the last 3 super cold water beach photos), was the Rosary that Rowena brought with her. I’m Catholic, probably not the best one out there, but I believe, and the foundation of my life is with God. I have many Rosary’s and so do my children. But what I experienced, and hopefully what you can feel, is the faith that will bind this couple later this year, in marriage. Their belief not only in their love, but the faith that will keep them together under the love of God. Beautiful and an honor to photograph and experience. Thank you both for an amazing night….oh yeah…about driving slow… patience is a characteristic of those at peace, with themselves, their foundation and all that moves them…we need nothing more than love!
