Orange County Wedding Photographer Christine Bentley

In any job there are people that you love to work with, and those you don’t, you all know that’s true. I love to photographer beautiful things, as most photographers do, but not only are beautiful things amazing and fun to photograph, but shooting with friends makes it even more amazing. A few weeks ago I decided that I wanted to create a photo shoot, this is not a real wedding, and it wasn’t about it being real as much as it was about being able to shoot beautiful things!. I wanted to have fun, challenge myself, and also, have the opportunity to shoot with a friend I have a ton of fun with, Oz Wroe. I met Oz last year at a workshop. We’ve been friends ever since. Not only is he an amazing photographer, but he’s great fun and this shoot was a blast. Beautiful people, Megan and Collin, along with beautiful details, amazing location, put together by a wonderfully creative wedding coordinator Constance Curtis. At the end of the post, please view those that made this possible. I encourage people, to take the time to practice if you can, contact those in your industry, especially vendors, and create things together! Not only is it fun, but once again, it’s practice, you NEED and MUST practice for that game day! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do! It was fun, amazing and also featured on Green Wedding Shoes. Thanks everyone. Please check out the links of those below, amazing vendors all around! XXOO

PhotoIdentities Features Christine Bentley’s BlogSite

.

WOW! I am so excited that the Folks at PhotoIdentities have been featuring my BLOGSITE! I have to tell you that because of this I am getting a TON of questions from people who want to get a blog or blogsite through them. I can NOT say enough good things about this company and their product. First off I see HTML code as a foreign language but was still able to make tweeks easily, AND Vera from PhotoIdentities not only answered my very lame questions but also helped me out with a few things! So YES YES YES, get a blogsite or blog from them and you’ll be super happy!

If you are interested in attending my workshop in March, hopefully they will have a little incentive for my attendees as I just emailed and am awaiting a response. They may WILL just be one of MANY product sponsors…..stay tuned! It’s gets more and more exciting everyday! XXOO

Christine Bentley Photography: Christmas at the St. Regis

.

Leslie MacMillan called me about a week ago, you know her don’t you (her beautiful face is in the next photo!)? Chris Lindsay Designs is her company and they are the magic behind creating Christmas magic for the St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach. I was honored to take photographs for her of what her amazing design team, Char & James created! When I arrived it was like the calm before the storm, little did I know there was 1000 people expected! If you are like me you had no idea that this was such a production! Leslie and her team have been here for almost 5 complete days, yep around the clock to create a beautiful atmosphere for the annual tree lighting ceremony. It didn’t take long for the valets to go NUTS as they filled up with hundreds of cars, children dressed in Christmas rags and parents chasing after them filled the air. Santa was there, Christmas carols were heard, hot chocolate and cookies were served and it was AWESOME! There were so many people there that I need to go back to get some closer photos of the beautiful GIANT Christmas Tree at night and the inverted ornament. It was just breath taking! Getting married at the St. Regis? Chris Lindsay Designs is your florist! They know what you will need, LOL, even if you want a Tree Lighting Ceremony! XXOO

I was a bride once. It was fun, there was so much planning to do. It was crazy! I have decided to give some of my advice (it is good believe me), to all my brides and future brides when they go to choose a vendor. On this blogsite I will now have a preferred vendor list. I will only feature one of my FAVORITE vendor from each category, after all if you are my favorite, then there is no one else that compares to you! For my first vendor tour, I present, Chris Lindsay Designs in Irvine, CA. Not only did I use them for my wedding, but because of their SUPERIOR arrangements and gifts I ALWAYS will use them for floral gifts as well as fine basket gifting. I have posted a few images here, but to learn more about Chris Lindsay Designs, please visit their website by clicking on their name in this post or www.chrislindsay.com. Also visit my vendor section to see why they are truly the best choice for your special occasion!
