Balboa Fun Zone Engagement Photos

Do Barbie and Ken Exist? Are there really princess’s and princes roaming about this wild planet? Don’t believe? Well how about this couple. Do you know them? Have you met them? If you did then you would know that fairytales do come true. You see, not to take away from the rugged good looks on Brendan but, the first thing you see is this gorgeous blonde girl…quite stunning actually with the most amazing smile ever…..a princess no doubt! Then you can’t help but notice Brendan’s constant smile, especially as he looks at Jana’ee. THEN you of course have to notice than Brendan treats this woman like a true prince. He is the definition of a complete gentleman, and this is how I know that Prince Charming is alive and well. Crossing the bay to take some photos, it was amazing how closely he paid attention to Jana’ee making sure that she didn’t take a mis-step, cautioning the bumpy ride, ensuring his princess was safe (and even warm…it got pretty damn cold out there). But okay now that I painted a pretty amazing picture of Brendan, how can I even begin to explain the super sweet and utterly perfect personality of the princess Jana’ee…she seems like one of those people who make me realize I need to go to confession way more than I do…I should be as nice as her….or even 10%…. I can’t wait for your wedding! I know you picked a fabulous location and I can’t wait to be a part of your day! I enjoyed my night…and truly thank you both for being so great! XXOO

I have to say it’s like magic, being able to be with my couples from engagement, to wedding, to maternity, to baby, to family….it just doesn’t get much better than this! I want to send out a wonderful congratulations to Meghan & Vince Sanossian, and Isabela and Julio Caron for the children that they are expecting in the beginning of next year. They are so blessed to be welcoming these new additions, but I’m also blessed to be the lucky one to be there during these amazing times in their lives! Love to all 6 of you! XXOO

Fine Art Prints | Christine Bentley Photography

always.reaching.for.more. I have always been this way my whole life. It gets me in trouble though, too determined…I don’t think so. But I love a good competition. I love to win. I have a one track mind. When shooting a couples wedding, I am relentless in getting them images that they LOVE, not like, not think are great, I mean LOVE. And with this I also want to give them more, constantly setting the bar higher. Learning the most sophisticated lighting techniques, carefully posing people, details, investing in client relationships, these things may already set me apart from others. But it still wasn’t enough, not in my mind…never enough for my clients. Now I offer fine art prints, a glimpse of unique, of style, of sophistication. Fine art prints help me accomplish many things, client satisfaction as well as award winning images. My goal, is to create these prints for every wedding, yet again granting my clients the options they deserve, seeing their images in fine art. And then of course selfish, to also in the spirit of my competitive drive, these fine art prints will be submitted in international photo competitions…oh yes, I’m in it to win it..

The Island Hotel Wedding | Newport Beach Weddings

Love…love is what brings two people together. I always believe in power in numbers, and love made this family of three just that more complete. Meeting Joe and Kristin, a few months ago, it was no wonder they were getting married. Joe watches her every move, his eyes follows her, follow her beauty and compassion, simply put, he adores her. She adores him as well….it’s incredible to hear them speak to each other, soft, caring and quietly. I love being around them, and photographing them, because I love to photograph when I FEEL how much people love each other.

November 11, 2011 was a very busy day for the wedding industry and I was honored to share this monumental date with this couple, and little William, as well as both of their families. I also want to thank a handful of some amazing vendors who once again made such a great team, and made my job, of capturing all their hard work, that much more spectacular! And of Course Steven Reynolds for being an amazing second shooter. Cheers to Joe, Kristin, and Liam…..you are blessed!

Laguna Beach Engagement Session | Victoria Beach

Weather in Laguna Beach has been very very unpredictable lately. It was hot today, for a lot of reasons, and one of them was Lauren and Phillip. They arrived in Laguna Canyon just in time to take some casual little shots before we set off to Victoria Beach. I had not shot there until tonight and I have to say I LOVE it! Although we did have a naked sunbather, it was all worked out…..but very funny….it was nutz! Ha ha! Anyways, it was a fun night, Christina Pastore did an amazing job getting Lauren looking just perfect for the night and the weather was great. No strong winds! Thankfully! I can not wait till this couple gets married in May next year! I just know that it is going to be fabulous! XXOO
