Orange County Wedding Photographer: Orange Circle

Ummm….so not very many people can say that while doing the first look shots of their wedding couple, we stopped off and had a shot of Jager at a bar….but I CAN! So can my incredible friend and local photographer OZ Wroe, he is amazing and I was so blessed to have him, in fact this is the second wedding we shot together, the last 2 Saturdays. Anyways, I have so many photos that are amazing from this wedding but I have so much editing on the back end to do right now. I will update this post, or actually write another one with more pics. It was a super fun wedding, the kind of wedding you feel like you are photographing a friend. You wouldn’t believe how creative they were, the mini bottle shots for the toast, the Laker themed jersey tables, the high five entrance, WOW, JUST WOW…..I can not wait to get together with this couple, I can’t WAIT. The next photo is a little glimpse of our pre wedding fun, I can’t say I drink on the job but who can resist a shot with a fab couple like this one! This photo would not be possible without the Canon 5D, it was just about BLACK inside this bar, no lights at all, just ambient light. We, Oz and I didn’t have our flashes since we were shooting outside, but hey, we covered it baby, with a super high ISO, slow shutter and the power of the 5D, I was happy to get anything in this bar, but this pic pretty much sums it up! XXOO I know I know, I need some noise reduction software but personally…I like it just the way it is!

Orange County Wedding Photographer: Westlake Village

We always have couples that we just love, well actually most of my couples are my favorites which means I have many favorites. I try everything in my power to make it a point to meet my couples before their wedding, visit their venues together and get to know each other pretty well. In fact, I think it has only happened once that I didn’t see the couple at least a few times before their wedding, it still went well of course but, I prefer to make a huge connection so we know we are right for each other. Truly knowing you on your wedding day gives me that much more insight to what you are looking from me, the confidence to know that of the many things you need to think about and worry about on your special day, your images aren’t one of them. Connecting allows us to know what to expect from each other in a professional and personal relationship.

I met this couple last year, in Los Angeles, with my husband to talk about potentially being their photographer. We laughed, we teased and we had a lot in common. Funny is the connection truly started as soon as we said hello, which is usually the case with my couples. We met again in Orange County over some coffee and business and again in Ventura Co. to go over the events of their wedding day and visit the venues, discuss photography. I truly know that this couple is amazing, I truly know that their decision to be lifelong partners, best friends and loves is a gift to each other that will truly last forever. The emotion of the day was nothing short of spectacular and I want to thank them both for allowing me the privilege to capture every moment of it! I can’t wait to see you guys again as we create your beautiful album! Special thanks to YazyJo.com for second shooting this amazing day!
