Mike Colon Experience: Christine Bentley Photography

Okay, so yes, I am back! Last year I went to Mike’s workshop to learn, and I am back to learn again but I am also lending him a small hand to help out for his workshop at Pelican Hill Resort. Gorgeous location! Many of you already know but Julie Colon and I have become friends through figuring out that we had our 2 oldest boys pretty much at the same time, at the same hospital, with the same doctor in rooms right next to each other! What are the chances! Our boys play well together…all 4 of them and I’m sure all 6 of them will play together just fine! So it’s been great meeting all the wonderful people who came out to learn from Mike, even all the way from Italy! Hearing it the second time around is very refreshing, kind of like a creative recharge. If there is anything that I can guarantee you besides learning a lot from this man, is he has some amazing models for his shoots! Makeup artists, hair, you name it he goes all out! These photos happen to be of his assistant Rosanna and her husband. What a gorgeous couple and in between making sure our equipment was locked up safe I was able to shoot today! Yeah! Here’s a couple I pulled off of my card! Not sure when his next workshop is….but GO! You’ll bring your business to a new level! XXOO

Orange County Wedding Photographer Christine Bentley

I met Jennifer a few weeks ago, in a little bit of a panic. We met for coffee and she explained how she was in total desperation to find a photographer for her May 15th wedding. Her Mom arrived and let me tell you, these two women are probably the sweetest Mom and Daughter team I have met in a long time. I have a very close relationship with my Mom and the two of them reminded me of that bond. Jennifer made the decision to commission me and we were all good. I met Jay the following week….Talk about a beautiful couple. All I can say is there is almost nothing better than to photograph 2 people so in love. 2 people who you KNOW love each other and will stand by each other forever. It is amazing to see and feel and be able to participate as their Photographer. It was an amazing wedding! I was SO VERY lucky and honored to photograph it. I also want to thank a dear friend and very talented Photographer Gustavo Fernandez from San Francisco. Check out his work he’s amazing and we were all blessed with his talent that day! XXOO Jen and Jay you were amazing! I also have to hand it to an amazing wedding planner Jason Rhee with In Good Company…I loved the Candy Bar!

“I DO……” Promise to Blog Later Today!

I know….boring blog….haven’t blogged in a long time…have many sessions to blog and clients to brag about, gorgeous weddings, beautiful babies, fun toddlers…… I have been so busy with life and shooting that blogging had to go on the back burner. I DO promise to blog more starting later today…..but for now, I DO need to go back to sleep so I can function……
