Leslie MacMillan called me about a week ago, you know her don’t you (her beautiful face is in the next photo!)? Chris Lindsay Designs is her company and they are the magic behind creating Christmas magic for the St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach. I was honored to take photographs for her of what her amazing design team, Char & James created! When I arrived it was like the calm before the storm, little did I know there was 1000 people expected! If you are like me you had no idea that this was such a production! Leslie and her team have been here for almost 5 complete days, yep around the clock to create a beautiful atmosphere for the annual tree lighting ceremony. It didn’t take long for the valets to go NUTS as they filled up with hundreds of cars, children dressed in Christmas rags and parents chasing after them filled the air. Santa was there, Christmas carols were heard, hot chocolate and cookies were served and it was AWESOME! There were so many people there that I need to go back to get some closer photos of the beautiful GIANT Christmas Tree at night and the inverted ornament. It was just breath taking!
